This royal state calls for lovers of wildlife and birds. The vast landscapes, including endangered and rare species, are characterised by pockets of incredible animals. The Ranthambore National Park, Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, Sariska Tiger Reserve and Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary are among the must-visite wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in the State. Taking a jeep safari or a boat ride in these wild areas can give you an insight into the royal Bengal tigers, the rare large bustards of the Indians, endangered dolphins, and several other bird and animal species as well as wilderness.

Rajasthani art and folk dance
A number of tribes live in this royal government, each of which has its own singular style of dance, music and art, forming part of the cultural tradition of the state. Some may seem somewhat eccentric, yet attractive, but they each portray the vivid culture of Rajasthan. For example, Bhavai dance consists of women dancing and rotating on their heads with eight to ten pitchers. The most popular folk genre of which females are performing dances and males are playing traditional instruments, the Quintessential Rajasthani (or Snake Charmer Dance). The favourite of the crowd is Kathputli dance, which is based on folk storeys. The ghoomar dances of Udaipur, Kacchi Ghodi, Khayal dance and Terah Taali are also popular forms of dance.

The diverse landscape of Rajasthan provides the perfect environment for numerous unique activities and experiences.
