The word socialism has been thrown around the world within a few years ago, before going to discuss the socialist countries in the world; we should understand what socialism meaning is. “It can be defined as an economic and political system which emphasizes on the means of production, distribution and exchange should be owned by the community as a whole.”  There are several kinds of socialism so it cannot be defined in a single definition.

A true socialist government is same like a democracy where everyone has the right to raise his voice and he should be given the equal priority and weight. The good governments always provide more facilities to their nationalists. The countries that have declared them as socialists, they have number of similarities to the united states of America.

What country is the most socialist country in the world?

Ans :  At present China is the most socialist country in the world. Chinese government has well-managed and controlled its economy and the number of domestic organizations are owned and operated by its own government. According to a recent survey China’s economy has become more geared towards the capitalism, but still it is officially recognized as a socialist country. It is the most populated country in the world having more than 1.351 billion population.

  1. Socialism is not Communism, they are similar but Communism is much more harsh.

    Socialism allows freedom of religion while just promoted secularism. Communism abolishes religion and is completely secular.

    In Socialism there is private property, including clothing, homes, etc. which is personal property and public property such as factories and production, where it is controlled by the state. In a Communistic country there is no private property.

    Socialism allowed free choice, such as education, religion, employment, marriage, etc. However in a Communist country all choices are made by the state.

    In Socialism everyone is equal, and laws are made to protect from discrimination. In a Communism, theoretically, everyone is equal.

    So having these Communistic countries in a supposedly 2014 socialistic country list is incorrect.
