IIT Kharagpur founded in 1951 for scientists and engineers as a training institute. BRICS give it twenty-forth ranking on his list and in Asian ranking it got sixty-seventh number. It is located in a town of Kharagpur, 120 km west side of Kolkata. It is situated over 2 thousand acres, which is the biggest campus in IIT’s.
